SPACE AGEING

If NASA developed its own skincare line, it would probably look a lot like 111 Skin, an 8-strong line of antioxidant-rich products concocted with ingredients tried-and-tested by real-life astronauts. As it happens, the range was developed by a Harley Street surgeon with the help of some space scientists.

And while the advice of professional Trekkies might not seem appropriate for a skincare line, it’s worth acknowledging that the uninhabitable conditions of floating about in space (no oxygen, high altitude, extreme temperatures etc) would weather skin far more aggressively than time spent on Earth. Granted, you’d probably be less concerned with the state of your appearance as you orbited our planet but, for those of us not planning to journey beyond the O-Zone, this high-tech line should be more than adequate.

At the core of the collection is a patented formula designed to increase levels of Glutathione, the vital antioxidant capable of undoing damage caused by the harshest of environmental conditions. Space travel optional.

Available exclusively at Harrods in the UK; see 111skin.com
